In May I hired Move It Now to help move just the few larger items I wasn't able to move on my own (sofa, chairs, dining room table, a heavy metal flat file, and my upright piano). I was moving ten minutes away. It was the hottest day of the year so far. Three young men arrived early. They were swift and pleasant to talk to. Everything was delivered safely except that my piano suffered some damage. They told me one of the straps on the truck had been faulty. They waived the $90 fee for moving the piano and said that they'd take it back to their shop to be repaired. It took longer than originally promised, but I feel very grateful for them wanting to do the job right rather than handing over sub-par work. After the work they had done to fix it, it's very hard to see where the damage was. Note that it had suffered some dings and scratches over the years to begin with. They even reimbursed me to have it tuned after it got redelivered. Gary, the owner, was great to work with. This situation was an unfortunate accident, but they really made the best of it for me. Thank you!+5Posted on Google

D55 days agoThey called ahead of time the day before just to confirm the move and called the morning of to tell me they were on their way and arrived on time. The person who gave me the quote was very friendly and professional. The movers were also polite and respectful. The only reason why I’m taking off a star is because there were times I saw the movers just standing there talking in the truck instead of moving more efficiently… I feel like it added more to the time and was a little upsetting given that us customers are paying by the hour. We moved a couple years ago and we have the same furniture that we do now and those men took less than 6 hours.. this time it took 8.5 hours. I just feel like they could’ve moved more efficiently and quickly. But other than that they were very helpful and nothing was broken.Posted on Google

Sharon Markel59 days agoWhen my previous movers cancelled 4 days before my planned move, ChatGPT led me to this company, and I’m so glad it did. When I called, Gary made sure I would get moved the day I had planned. Then, although there was a little confusion at the beginning, the moving team, Seth and Ron, were determined to do exactly everything that I needed, and they knocked it out of the park. They were so polite and friendly, they took great care of all my things, including my piano, and they put everything exactly where I wanted in my new place. I had some really heavy furniture, yet they handled all of it with ease. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I highly recommend this company and am incredibly grateful for everyone involved who made this move so smooth. Thank you!!!!!!!Posted on Google

Joanna Krajci149 days agoIncredibly happy with my experience with Move It Now. I only needed a few couches moved, so it was quick and easy. The guys were incredibly friendly and helpful. They worked quickly and took great care of my furniture. Very fair pricing as well. Highly recommend and will be using them again. Update May 2026: just hired them again to help me move apartments. I was having issues with the elevators in my building being down, and the Move It Now team was so helpful and understanding about rescheduling last minute. For the actual move, the guys were so polite, careful and efficient. No time wasted, and willing to go above and beyond by helping me move some items to my car and taking apart and reassembling some large furniture. All said and done, the actual cost was a couple hundred less than my estimate. My only regret is that I didn't have more cash for better tips for the guys. I couldn't be more happy or recommend Move It Now more.Posted on Google

Starry Nights288 days agoAllen and Troy are the BEST!!! My husband and I literally had a sofa set delivered from VC and they sent some terrible 3rd party movers to our home to move the furniture in our basement and they gave up after a few minutes and said it was too big and they couldn’t do it. So my husband and I tried ourselves later on and the sofa got stuck in our stairwell which has a sharp turn afterwards. So that’s why we called Akron Move It Now to see if they can get it “unstuck” out the stairwell and bring it back upstairs so we can just sell it, but they suggested they were confident they could get it past the sharp turn and move it to the basement with no problem. These two guys literally moved both sofas that we were told were “too big” into our basement in less than 5 minutes and I’m not kidding. I could not believe my eyes!!!! Because of them we no longer have to go through the stress of selling our brand new sofa set. I will forever be loyal to this company and I made sure they got a great tip!!! I’ll tell everyone about them. Thank you!!!Posted on Google

From the first phone call to explaining the final paperwork, this company was excellent in every way!Posted on Google
Susan601 days agoI recently used Move it Now on Feb 8th. I was moving from an apartment into my forever home. They graciously moved my boxes and furniture when it was freezing outside and they had no issues carrying my furniture up a ton of flights of stairs, or down in the basement. I used them previously in the past before this recent move and had nothing but positive experiences with them both times . The movers are friendly, quick, and efficient. They made my move so much easier and quicker then i could’ve imagined. 10/10 would recommend!Posted on Google

Jeremy and Seth completed a home move for me today and did a terrific job. Very personable and it was pleasure to see how smoothly they worked together. Apologies for not leaving a tip, but I called your office and they are going to add to my card! J.Moore and CR did a great job moving all of the furniture from my dad’s house into the garage to prepare for a sale this weekend. They worked fast, were polite and move it now scheduled on short notice for us. I would definitely use move it now again, and ask for these two employees.Posted on Google

Eleanor M660 days agoThese guys moved us a couple of weeks ago from Cuyahoga Falls to Dalton. We could not possibly be more thrilled with their very professional services. My husband and I aren’t too physically able to handle heavy lifting and a ton of work. We didn’t have to because these fellas totally had us taken care of. We had a 5 man crew and two large trucks. They came to our rescue like calvary leading a charge. These guys worked so hard. There is a HUGE difference between these guys and day laborers from Uhaul. Massive. We have so much stuff and I couldn’t fathom how they were going to get us all done in the time estimate. They did!!! They were carrying multiple things at once. We have not had many item casualties either, so I would also say they were pretty careful too. They respected boxes marked fragile. They also protected the floors and doors. 98% of boxes were put in the rooms they were designated to go. They even assembled our beds!!! That absolutely left us stunned. We were immensely blessed to have this service. We would a thousand percent recommend their business. EDIT: 12/13/24 I wish I could add a second five star review. They recently just help my mother move in with me. Her move was a far longer distance from southern Ohio into Wayne county. Again, top notch movers that I would definitely recommend them to anyone. They are polite, timely, and they get the job done.Posted on Google

They made sure everything was taken care of and made 3 stops, one which included putting the truck on a scale to weigh metal we wanted to recycle. Ryan drove the truck and passed the maneuver ability like a pro. Also, the girls I spoke with on the phone were very nice and accommodating when I changed one of the drop off locations twice. Megan McGonigal687 days agoLet me start by saying how incredibly grateful my family is for this company. For weeks we have been planning to move our grandma from her house of 30 years to an assisted living facility. We originally booked with another moving company. 3 hours before they were supposed to be there, they cancelled. I started calling around frantically. I knew chances of finding another moving company, last minute, with availability on a Saturday would be nearly impossible. When I called Move It Now, I was told they didn’t have any availability but he was going to call his crews and would get back to me. Within one hour they called me back saying they were able to do it. And within 2 hours after that, the guys were at the house ready to go! Keith and Troy were AMAZING. They were quick and efficient. Everything was loaded and unloaded in about 3.5 hours. We were so impressed, and again, so very thankful for this company. We will absolutely be using them in the future for any moves and would 100% recommend them to everyone! Thank you Move It Now! You guys were incredible!Posted on Google
